The consequences of equine tissue injury can be performance limiting to catastrophic.  Current treatment modalities are deficient in a number of areas, which is why TR BioSurgical has formed a new program directed at equine tissue repair. 


TR BioSurgical is not content on developing products with limited incremental value, our products use cutting edge patented technology that represent major breakthroughs in tissue repair science.  We are focused on the most challenging equine injuries and diseases.  TR BioSurgical's Equine Tissue Repair Program will enable veterinarians to accelerate tissue repair, improve patient recovery, and hasten return to performance.

Proud Flesh Repair Implant: 
A gel implant which promotes and accelerates cellular infiltration and tissue repair. 
Status: Trials underway, interim data shows dramatic improvement in lesions.

Tendon/Ligament Repair Implant:  
Viscous bioscaffold implant that forms a biofilm on injured tissue and provides a cellular scaffold.  Studies have shown the bioscaffold reduces scar tissue formation and accelerates tissue healing, critical properties for injuries like bowed tendons, ligament tears, and avulsions.

Bone Cyst Repair Implant:
An osteopromotive bioscaffold implant to fill bone cysts and provide a scaffold for bone cell infiltration.
Status: Prototype being developed

Cartilage Repair Implant: 
Mesh impregnated with regenerative matrix which adheres to cartilage defects and forms a bed for cartilage cells to form.
Status: Prototype being developed

Colic Surgery Device:  
A non-immunogenic cross linked bioscaffold film that can be wrapped around intestines to help prevent leakage, reduce scar tissue formation, and accelerate tissue repair.
Status: Prototype being developed

Corneal Repair Scaffold: 
A bioscaffold which coats injured cornea and accelerates healing.
Status: Initial product configuration completed.
